Advanced Dental Tech For a Next Level of Experience

Biomimetic Biological Tooth Restorations

At Dr Emma’s Integrative Wellness Center, we leverage modern technology to enhance our ability to deliver exemplary results in a way that simultaneously promotes the health and wellness of individuals. We work at the intersection between cutting-edge technology and the time-honored practices of good oral health. Ozone and laser therapy allow us to interact with the body in a more thoughtful way. This technology is especially helpful to promote healing via regeneration and harnessing the body’s potential to repair itself. CAD/CAM, 3D Imaging, and digital integration maximize accuracy, efficiency, and patient collaboration. This, in turn, allows us to practice minimally invasive techniques and creates a more enjoyable experience for our patients. We are continuously investing in new technology and looking for ways to enhance our level of patient care.

3D Cone-Beam CT X-rays

Dental X-Rays
For more than a century, dentists have relied on dental X-rays which present information in only two dimensions. Unless you are fully trained on how to read an X-ray they are nearly impossible to understand. They are so difficult, even for trained individuals, because there are significant challenges to interpreting 3D data on a 2D image. Thankfully, for more than 20 years, a dental imaging system called 3D Cone Beam Computed Tomography (3D CBCT) has been available.

3D radiology is more efficient and effective than 2D radiology. Patients find it much easier to understand their own health issues because they can see their anatomical issues in three dimensions. Additionally, our 3D CBCT system fully integrates with our other digital technologies to achieve the highest standard of patient care.

Dental Lasers

Dental Lasers Lasers have become an integral part of our lives. What you may not know is that lasers have played a role in dentistry for over 40 years! Dr Emma’s Integrative Wellness Center has invested in multiple different wavelengths of lasers which help us to accomplish numerous health-promoting tasks from an early caries detection(DiagnoDent) to photo-biomodulation (biostimulation and low-level laser therapy) to specific bacteria removal. The Lightwalker Laser by Fotona is a powerful and efficient laser that allows better precision and reliable results for the following procedures: cavity preparation, caries removal, frenectomy and tongue tie release, implant recovery, gum disease treatment, gum lift, and gentle existing crowns removal.

LANAP Periodontal Regeneration

These lasers also create an opportunity for “shot-free” dentistry! Using pulsed light, the tooth or gums being treated do not feel the same kind of stimulation that is caused by a drill or a tooth scraper. This results in incredibly comfortable care that often requires no anesthesia.

Nobody wants to wait for their teeth to be fixed!

For the majority of the 20th century, if you needed a crown, veneers or bridges, you would be waiting for 2-4 weeks for the lab to get your teeth done. When they arrived, they never looked like real teeth. Thanks to the incredible advantages of CAD/CAM technology, we are able to make almost all of your dental restorations in a single visit! Find out just how easy and fast it can be to replace your failing crown without black margins and toxic mercury fillings with life-like ceramic restorations using the CEREC system. Efficiency and health is a great combination.

Ozone Therapy

We believe in using the least toxic and most effective substances to help ensure the greatest health for our patients. For these reasons, we choose to use ozone in our center.

Ozone is a super-charged set of 3 oxygen atoms which is created in a gas form. It is used by hundreds of municipalities for sterilizing their water supplies.

We also use ozone gas over every tooth we restore to ensure there are no live bacteria being bonded underneath any restorations. Ozone has many other amazing applications in dentistry and we look forward to helping you enjoy its benefits.

Photo Studio

Ready for a beautiful headshot with us? We use our photo studio daily to make our patients love their smiles and take care of those smiles even better.

We take digital photos of our patients using a highly-advanced Canon Camera ideal for uncovering what is really happening in the mouth. Dr Emma reviews every patient’s photos after she has completed a thorough examination to ensure she has been as thorough as possible. Aside from actually seeing what is in your mouth, you are also able to visualize proposed treatment. Seeing is believing!

Medical Centrifuge for Platelet Rich Fibrin

Bio Platelet Rich FibrinPlatelet Rich Fibrin is obtained from your blood and contains 100% your own cells. After your blood sample is collected, it is spun in a medical grade centrifuge to separate the growth factors, stem cells, and fibrin present in your blood, These concentrated materials will be used to promote natural and advanced regeneration when applied to your surgical sites. This leads to faster healing time, reduced pain level and infection incidence.

T-Scan Occlusal Analysis

Gum health evaluation

How your teeth come together is called “occlusion”. Sometimes your teeth don’t fit properly when bit, close or chew. This can lead to

– Headaches

– Jaw pain and stiffness

– Sensitive Teeth

– Neck and back pain

A thorough occlusal exam with the T-Scan system is very easy and painless. It gives us the information we need to easily determine and restore the perfect balance of your bite. You simply bite down on a thin sensor and the software displays the timing of contacts and levels of force in a dynamic movie.

T-Scan Occlusal Analysis T-scan provides the level and timing of force on individual teeth-which is much more accurate than guessing how much force is placed on marks made by articulating paper. No longer do we have to rely on how things “feel’ in your mouth because the amount of pressure produced on individual teeth can be quantified.

IQ Air

You may not think about it too often, but the potential for poor air quality in a dental practice is very high. Think of the aerosols from ultrasonic cleaning tools, the splatter from drills and vapors coming off mercury fillings. Not to mention breath, coughs and sneezes coming from people’s mouths. To ensure an environment of optimal air quality, our center purchased an ” IQAir” unit which helps draw air and vapor away from the patient’s face and through a multiple-level filtration system. Additionally we use negative ion generators ,mercury vapor ionizers , dental air vacuum suctions, and ozone air filtration systems ensuring the healthiest environment for everybody.
